Because there’s a need to get back mental health back on track.
Because normal behaviour is being over-medicalised.
Because we need to take control of our own lives, and our own mental health.
Because poor mental health is becoming an excuse for the weak not facing every day challenges and actually contributing to society.
My primary school teacher told be never to start a sentence with the word ‘because’. But I have. Several times. Because, just like you, I am in control.
